The DELE (Diploma de Española Como Lingual Extranjera) is a Spanish language proficiency test recognized internationally, developed by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education. The DELE exam is designed to evaluate the candidate's ability to use the Spanish language in real-life situations. It covers the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It is divided into different levels, from A1 to C2, and it certifies the degree of fluency and competence of the candidate in the Spanish language. Successfully passing the DELE exam can open up many opportunities for students, such as studying in Spanish-speaking universities or working in Spanish-speaking countries.
